Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. Romans 13:10-11(NKJV) © 1982 by Thomas Nelson. Maybe it was just boredom or disinterest in listening to someone. It might have been for any other number of reasons. It can be an event with little to no consequences or it could be a seriously dangerous event. Falling asleep on the job could be embarrassing if you are an office worker at your desk. But it could be something much more serious if you’re an air traffic controller or any number of other positions. Not being spiritually awake could be a problem that is deadly too. Ignoring spiritual preparation in our lives can leave us dead to the Lord. Dead is all that really matters. We could find ourselves separated from. God and everything good. That’s a dangerous way to live. The moment we breathe our last earthly breath and this physical cardiac muscle, our heart ♥, takes its last beat. We are immediately conscious, and in one of two places. Heaven or hell. Both are equally real. But they are polar opposites. Whatever you do ; don’t fall asleep at the wheel spiritually. While falling asleep at any number of earthly task could claim our lives. Failing to be awaken and properly respond to God’s call on our lives. Could cause us to be separated from the Lord and all that is good for eternity. That would only leave one other destination, hell. So if you have drifted to sleep spirituality, Wake up! Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2b)Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
